Seals Leaky Shaft and Rudder Packing Boxes
Drip Less moldable packing kits are a combination of Teflon moldable packing and Teflon paste. The kit is used in conjunction with standard shaft packing (sold separately) to form a self-lubricating seal within leaky shaft or rudder packing boxes. Some higher speed shafts may exceed the performance limits of the kit, so be sure to compute the formula shown for your particular application: Shaft diameter x maximum shaft (not engine!) rotation x 0.25; the answer must not exceed 900.
