Brake legs are constructed of bronze, and fitted with long-lasting brake linings.
The actuator shaft and knob are stainless steel.
For safety, the knob is designed to "pop off" if a line gets tangled around it.
The brake kit comes complete with mounting plate, plastic shaft bushing, and mounting hardware.
All Edson pedestals come pre-drilled to accept the brake shaft, and the kit takes about 20 minutes to install.
