These good-looking headstay sail bags are designed to fasten around the forestay with the sail hanked-on.
The bag has a flap in front which wraps around the stay, and fasteners with twist locks on the side of the bag. The top closes with a heavy duty nylon zipper.
All chafing areas are reinforced with leather or tough vinyl. Two brass rings are sewn into the aft corners of the bag with stout webbing for attaching halyards or sheets which hold the bag off the deck. Drain holes are built-in.
Bags come in two sizes:
Small: 36" on the forestay, 34" top, and 52" bottom
Large: 46" on the forestay x 36" top x 60" bottom
