This is an economical, durable, simple, classic design - suitable for avariety of applications. It is for single engine, single station applications, and is capable of handling heavier cables. While the ST model has no friction brake; the STB model (available by special order) has an adjustable external friction brake to prevent creep when used in throttle applications.
Commonly used for inboard applications
Single function control - one lever controls either throttle or shift functions
Uses 3300/33C or 4300/43C type control cables (not suitable for Mercury and OMC OEM type control cables)
