The TLP is a very slim, low profile, cabinet door push-button latching system.When the cabinet door is closed, the latch is engaged, whether the knob is in or out. Push the knob to flush position to lock the latch. Push the knob again - to out position - to unlock the latch. In the unlocked position, pull on the knob to open the cabinet door. The push knob assures safety and has a sleek-looking appearance when locked.

The white plastic latch body listed here mounts on the rear surface of the door.
The metal knobs and knob base (neck with flange) are sold separately; see Related Products, below.
The neck portion (knob base) is inset into the door, up to the thin flange, so the mechanism is only 4mm proud on the door surface - just over 1/8" with the knob in the recessed position.
The latch body incorporates a plastic deadbolt mechanism which is activated by the push knob.
A counterplate/strike plate is included with this latch body, and mounts on side wall of cabinet.
