These kits make replacing your traveler easy!

It will restore (and often exceed) your traveler's original performance by taking the guesswork out of selecting the right parts.

Now, all you need to do is select a kit, an appropriate length of the matching size track, the correct fasteners, and you're done! It's that simple!

Note that if your current traveler uses Harken metric (22mm) track, and is in good shape, you can use your current track instead of purchasing and installing a new piece. Please be sure to read the Instruction Manual (below) for advice if you decide to re-use your original track.

To Select the Right Kit:

Simply take your boat's length and whether your mainsheet attaches at the end of the boom (End-Boom Sheeting) or somewhere along the boom (Mid-Boom Sheeting) and, using the accompanying Specification Table, determine if this 22 mm kit is appropriate for your length of boat.

Alternatively, you can use your mainsail's area and follow the same process. If your boat's mainsail is larger than the maximum area recommended, move up to the 27mm kits.

If the two methods disagree, you should defer to the mainsail area.

Selecting the right track:

If your original traveler track is Harken 22mm (metric) track and still in good shape, you can re-use that track, or select one of Harken's current metric tracks and not have to drill any new holes for mounting.

If you are replacing a non-metric track (typically with 4" hole spacing), you should consider Harken's 22 mm track with 4" spacing or their 22 mm high-beam track with variable fastener spacing to exactly match the fastener spacing of your original track.
