Biminis you can install, for virtually any boat

Our biminis are made with marine-grade Sunbrella canvas, UV polyester thread, 1-inch stainless steel tubing (0.065 thick) and fittings. No aluminum!

Sturdy zippered pockets secure the fabric to the frame, and heavy adjustable nylon straps hold the bimini taut fore and aft. When not in use, the forward straps are cast off and the top is folded back against the backstay or arch.

For winter (or any other reason) you can quickly remove the entire assembly by removing the mounting screws.

How do I know what size will fit my boat?

There is no specific bimini pattern or size for your model. Everyone has their own idea about what a good bimini should be. Some owners prefer smaller, or lower, or taller, or wider. These are decisions you should make while standing in your cockpit. If you want the bimini to extend aft beyond your backstay, single or double, that can be easily accommodated.

Take a couple of measurements to see what size bimini your boat will accommodate. Remember, this is custom made from your measurements, so you can have the size you want. Once you know the maximum length and width of the bimini you want, you can purchase simply by using the sizes listed below as a guide.

Of course, all biminis must fit under, or aft of, the boom. If your boom is low, your bimini headroom will be, too. Occasionally, there may be a conflict between the frame supports and a winch. This is solved by simply ratcheting the winch when taking in a sheet.

Bimini Measurements and Color Choices: After you order you will be sent instructions for the simple measurements we need to build your bimini. Biminis can be made in any Sunbrella color. If you would like a color other than what is listed, please tell us in the comments box of the checkout form.

IMPORTANT! Due to the size of a bimini it is necessary to ship it via freight (not UPS). The shipping quoted is based on shipping to a commercial address. If you enter a residential address, the shipment has to be transferred to a smaller carrier and the freight company charges up to an additional $90 fee which will be added to your order. If your Marina is considered a commercial address, not all of them are, then check with the marina manager to see if they can accept the shipment on your behalf. Some marinas do not want that liability.

Top of the coaming

The coaming is the "lip" of your cockpit; the back wall that you lean against. It is the most common place to mount a bimini; it's known as a "flat mount."

Pro: Fits virtually any boat. By adding or subtracting support bows you can have as much or as little coverage as you want.

Con: You have to drill holes in your boat. The supports can be a pain to climb around when accessing the cockpit. If the supports are positioned poorly you can have conflicts with winches.

Outside of the coaming

Known as "side mount."

Pro: Good for small cockpits or a coaming that does not have a flat top. By adding or subtracting support bows you can have as much or as little coverage as you want.
