Rudder Spacer Gasket (red) - Sold Each

Used to separate the rudder from the aluminum assembly that holds it in place. Identifiable by its distinctive reddish-pink color. Sold as a 15-inch square so you can trim and drill to fit.

Please note: Your rudder assembly uses two of these, one on each side. We sell them individually, not in pairs. To replace both sides order a quantity of 2.

The material is heavier than it looks so shipping may be a bit higher than you would expect.

Installation: To remove the old gasket, use a small amount of denatured alcohol to loosen the old glue. If that doesn't work use acetone, but start with a small amount to make sure it doesn't damage the powder coat on the aluminum rudder head.

To affix the new gasket, use 3M spray glue #90 that will adhere to rubber and paint. It should be readily available at any home improvement store.
