Teak Strips For Stern Rail Seats
Hunter added teak slats to stern rail seats made from the mid-90s to the early 2000s. These are real teak strips, not the plastic or faux teak solutions used in the mid-2000s or later.
The seats were built by installing oversized strips to the seats, then trimming them down to fit the base of the seat and sanding the edges. For this reason, each individual strip/boat/model can be a slightly different size, so these can not be sold off the shelf.
We are offering the replacement material unfinished in 5 foot lengths. You simply cut to size, finish in your choice of oil, varnish, or Cetol, then install on the seat base. Its a project perfectly suitable for novice woodworkers, requiring only a saw, sandpaper, and a pencil to mark the cuts.
The teak strips are sold each, 5 feet long and ready for finish. Ships FedEx or USPS.
